Removes the XP readout from the statusline renderer.

What changed (scripts/statusline-command.sh)

  • Drops the ⚔️ Lv… XP line, its transient +N XP toast, and the level-up flash.
  • Drops the per-refresh ledger reads that fed it: three jq invocations plus a python3 fork on every render. The statusline re-renders once a second, so this removes real per-refresh process overhead — the same class of cost the disabled VS Code AppleScript block above it was commented out for.
  • The renderer now emits three lines: user@host:dir (plus git branch / session / model), context + cache usage, and rate limits.

What didn't change
XP crediting, the ledger at ~/.claude/side-quest/xp.json, per-tool ticks, and MQTT cross-machine sync are all untouched. xp.sh statusline still prints the ledger summary on demand. Only the statusline rendering was removed.

Version: minor bump (2.6.0 → 2.7.0). It is a user-visible removal rather than a fix, but not an interface break — the plugin's CLI, hooks, and ledger format are unchanged. Easy to call it a major instead if the statusline XP readout counts as part of the plugin's core promise.

  • bash -n clean; rendered against a sample payload and confirmed 3 lines with no XP output.
  • grep for xp_ / side-quest / ⚔️ in the script returns nothing.
  • PII sweep per AGENTS.md run over the staged diff: no hits.

The statusline script no longer renders the XP line, its transient
