Adds plugins/current-goal, a hooks-only mod that shows the session's current goal in light blue (blueBright) as ◎ Goal: <condition>, under the last-message line above the prompt input.

  • Records the goal from /goal <condition> (command.run) and from model-proposed goals (ProposeGoal via tool.call); /goal clear|off|none|reset|stop|cancel removes it.
  • Draws in the AbovePrompt band by calling next(e) and stacking its line beneath whatever the band already shows (e.g. last-message); alone otherwise.
  • Registered in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json (alphabetical, before font-extractor). No SKILL.md/agents/setup: hooks-only.

Verification

  • claude plugin validate passes on the marketplace and plugin (only the missing-author warning every plugin has). PII sweep over the staged diff: clean.
  • Checked visually in a live session: /goal set the line, and it cleared with the goal.
  • No automated tests: a claude plugin test suite could not mount the band without a stand-in ui.render tree, so it was dropped.

Known limits

The plugin API has no read of the current goal, so the mod only sees goals set after it loads. A goal active at load or restored on resume will not show. A declined ProposeGoal approval may still display.
